Product Name :
Chicken anti Indole-3-butyric acid

Description :
| Clone Polyclonal | Isotype IgY | Product Type Primary Antibodies | Units 1 ml | Host Chicken | Application ELISA Immuno-affinity-chromatography

Background :
Chicken egg yolk Immunogen: BSA-Indole-3-butyric acid conjugate

Source :
Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) is a plant hormone belonging to the group of auxins. It is used to stimulate root formation in plant cuttings. <

Product :
Each vial contains 1 ml extract purified (PEG) chicken polyclonal antibody in 0.1 M PBS pH 7.2 containing containing 0.02% sodium azide.

Specificity :
Target: Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), CAS no.: 133-32-4, Solubility target: Methanol, ethanol. Species Reactivity: Cross Reactivity Indole-3-actic acid

Applications :
The antibody may be used in ELISA and Immuno-affinity-chromatography (IAC). Samples may include cutting medium samples and extraction of these samples may be performed using PBS-10% methanol, followed by neutralisation of the extract.Suggested dilution 1:12,800 in indirect ELISA (this titer is defined as the dilution that gives 50 % of the absorbance from the maximum absorbance when tested with ELISA). Plates are coated with 400 ng/ml ovalbumine-conjugated indole-3-butyric acid. HRP-conjugated anti-chicken IgY should be used as a tracer in a 1:8,000 dilution.

Storage :
Store at 4 °C or -20 °C. The working antibody solution is stable for at least 7 days at 4 °C. Precautions should be taken for storage for longer periods. Problems of longterm stability may occur with highly diluted solutions. For long storage purposes in solution the addition of sodium azide to 0.02 % is advised with the appropriate precautions of use.

Antibodies are immunoglobulins secreted by effector lymphoid B cells into the bloodstream. Antibodies consist of two light peptide chains and two heavy peptide chains that are linked to each other by disulfide bonds to form a “Y” shaped structure. Both tips of the “Y” structure contain binding sites for a specific antigen. Antibodies are commonly used in medical research, pharmacological research, laboratory research, and health and epidemiological research. They play an important role in hot research areas such as targeted drug development, in vitro diagnostic assays, characterization of signaling pathways, detection of protein expression levels, and identification of candidate biomarkers.
